THE MEANING BEHIND 'TRUTH OR DARE?' - CONSENT ISN'T A GAME
It’s 2 a.m. The dim, eerie glow of your phone screen reads: “truth or dare?” You already know he wants more than a harmless game. The doubt creeps in—“am I still pretty if I don’t comply?” Truth or Dare? flips the innocent party game into a coercive, manipulative trick that guilt-trips you: say yes to his demand or be labeled “disrespectful.” Over punchy drums and guitars, the narrator sets her boundary—“I don’t wanna be the crown jewel of all your immature games.” She says no. He blocks her. She feels guilty—gaslit into thinking saying “no” was wrong. She did no wrong; she stood her ground and maintained her self-worth and self-respect. Consent isn’t a game. “Truth or dare, baby, I don’t wanna play with you. And that’s my truth.”

THE ARTIST BEHIND THE MESSAGE - CARA PAIGE ON SELF-WORTH
Based on a true story, Cara Paige wrote Truth or Dare? to say plainly: no one should be pressured into consent. It’s for anyone who’s felt pushed to say “yes” because a “no” might be met with anger or silence. The message is clear—your choice is yours alone and it must be respected. Saying no is not disrespect. Consent isn’t a game. You are not a pawn or an object. Your worth isn’t your body or your looks—it’s your voice, your boundary, your say. This track is for the moment doubt creeps in after you refuse: stand firm, keep your self-respect, and let go of anyone who won’t honor it.
